Fire Suppression Sales Professional

Advanced Safety Systems, Inc, an established North Shore based fire protection company, seeks a qualified sales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong prospecting skills, experience in closing solution-based sales, excellent communication, negotiation and inter-personal skills. The focus of this position is to develop new business in the New England area for commercial fire suppression products and solutions. Prospective customers and clients are end users as well as contractors and engineers in the commercial, industrial, health care, telecommunications, cultural, manufacturing etc. market segments.

We are a full service systems provider including in house engineering and design, system installation, testing and commissioning as well as service and maintenance.
 
The ideal candidate for this professional sales position has:

•  A minimum of 5 years experience in fire protection sales.
•  Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to speak comfortably in public.
•  Excellent organization, communication, time management and customer service skills.
•  Requires flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks while adjusting priorities as needed.
•  Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
•  The ability to interact effectively with owners, contractors, project managers, engineers and architects to build long-term relationships.
•  Business to business and cold calling experience.
•  College degree preferred.

Senior Level Fire Alarm Technician

Advanced Safety Systems Inc. is currently seeking a senior level fire alarm technician to join our service team. The qualifying candidate will have the necessary skill set and experience to perform all aspects of servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting and programming of addressable fire alarm systems. Programming of FCI and or EST fire alarm systems is preferred; although training is available for either product line. However, you will not be considered for this position if you do not currently have experience programming fire alarm systems. Special consideration will be given to candidates who also have experience programming fire suppression and early warning air sampling systems.

Fire Protection Service Technician

Advanced Safety Systems, Inc. is seeking experienced technicians to install and maintain special hazards fire suppression systems throughout New England. Experience is necessary, with a background preferably in non-water, special hazards fire suppression systems or fire alarm systems.
 
This position includes servicing established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customers’ fire protection equipment, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
•  Valid Driver's License
•  HS diploma/GED
•  Fire licenses may be required based on state or local regulations
•  Fire certifications required
•  Ability to be available to work on-call when scheduled
•  Ability to work independently
